The Australian Queen Tribute Show celebrates the iconic rock anthems, powerful vocals and flamboyant showmanship of Queen, one of rock music’s greatest ever bands, when it performs at 8pm on Thursday 16 February at the Benalla Performing Arts and Convention Centre (BPACC).
Gareth Hill takes centre stage as Freddie Mercury, who captures the incredible vocal range, stage antics and amazing likeness for Queen’s lead vocalist, Freddie Mercury.
"From Bohemian Rhapsody to We Are the Champions, you will want it all when Queen’s hugely popular rock hits and exuberant theatrical performances are brought to life in this spectacular musical tribute to rock royalty," said Chair of the BPACC Board of Management, Alana Johnson.
"The Australian Queen Tribute Show has the look, the sound, they have it all. They will amaze audiences with their incredible reproduction as one of rock music’s greatest ever bands."
Scotty Hotpants replicates Brian May’s iconic guitar licks and solos while Darryn Schultz performs as Queen’s bass guitarist John Deacon and Brad Hodge steps into the role of Queen’s drummer, Roger Taylor.
The Australian Queen Tribute Show runs for 100 minutes with an interval.
Ticket prices are $45 adults, $43 seniors, $40 concession, $39 per person for groups of 10 or more and $20 for students.
