Victorian Seniors Festival

The Victorian Seniors Festival runs throughout October every year, delivering free or low-cost events and activities designed to bring seniors together.

Benalla Seniors Festival

A variety of free or low-cost events will be held as part of the 2024 Seniors Festival under the Festival theme of “Explore, Engage and Evolve.”

The festival runs all throughout October with opportunities to participate in free and low-cost events including:

• Celebration Day at Federation Square on Sunday 6 October
• 8 days of free public transport (for Seniors Card holders) from 6 to 13 October 
• Victorian Senior of the Year Awards will be held on Thursday 24 October at Government House

There will also be a large group of ukelele players from all regions participating in the celebration day. Local ukelele players interested in taking part can contact Council on 5760 2600 for further information.
