Walking Talking-Book Club

Join the "Walking Talking-Book Club" at Benalla Library, a novel program that intertwines the intellectual stimulation of a book club with the health benefits of walking. Starting behind the library, participants will engage in a 2.4km walk, approximately 35 minutes, whilst immersing themselves in the monthly selected uLibrary audiobook. This innovative format promotes both mental and physical well-being, encouraging a balanced lifestyle.

After the final Thursday walk of each month, we will gather in the library, offering an opportunity for a reflective chat and socialising over a cup of tea or coffee.

Preparation is key! Please ensure your audiobook is preloaded on your device and operational before the walk. For assistance with setup, the library staff are available to assist during business hours.

Attendees are also reminded to bring essentials such as water and sun protection.
