Victorian Seniors Festival

The Victorian Seniors Festival is a major state-wide festival for and involving seniors, that runs throughout October every year, delivering free or low-cost events and activities, designed to bring seniors together.

Benalla Seniors Festival 

A variety of free or low-cost events will be held as part of the 2024 Seniors Festival under the Festival theme of “Explore. Engage. Evolve." - encouraging older Victorians to stay curious and connected by exploring new activities, meeting new people, and changing how we think of ageing.

About the Festival

The Victorian Seniors Festival is a major state-wide festival for seniors. For more than 40 years, the festival has provided opportunities for senior Victorians to participate in a range of activities and events to connect with their community.

This annual festival returns in October 2024, featuring:

  • live and local events across the state, delivered by local councils, community groups and clubs
  • eight days of free public transport for Victorian Seniors Card holders from 6 to 13 October 2024
  • return of flagship events held in Melbourne’s CBD and regional Victoria
