Volunteers Advisory Committee

The Council’s Volunteers Advisory Committee:

  • Assists in the development of celebrations that recognise the efforts and contributions of all volunteers in Benalla Rural City
  • Encourages more people to become involved as volunteers
  • Advises and assists the Council with the development of the Volunteer Award nomination guidelines
  • Provides a forum through which volunteers are represented to the Council

The committee meets once a month and is comprised of representatives from the Council, community organisations and community volunteers.
