Our Councillors

Benalla Rural City has welcomed the Councillors elected in the 2024 Council Election. Councillors hold office until September 2028 and include four former Councillors, two former Mayors and three first time Councillors.

The Council was sworn in on Tuesday 26 November 2024. Councillor Bernie Hearn was elected Mayor and Cr Justin King was elected Deputy Mayor in November 2024.
