Benalla’s winter event calendar is heating up, with FlameFest, a fire entertainment spectacular, coming to the Benalla Racing Club on Saturday 12 August.
FlameFest has been touring Australia this winter and event owners, Event People, are excited to bring the fire spectacular to Benalla next month with support from Benalla Rural City Council and the Benalla Racing Club.
Event People’s General Manager, Scott Hollow said they are combining everything that people love in a festival with their spectacular FireShow and bringing it to Benalla.
‘It’s time for everyone to get fired-up with a packed program of red-hot fire installations, fire performers, live music, mesmerising light shows, amusements, pop-up foodie feasts, kid’s activities and more,’ Mr Hollow said.
‘The Festival will feature a myriad of entertainers from musicians, stunt performers, roving performers and magicians, to fire-breathers and fire-twirlers.’
‘Through support of Benalla Rural City Council and the Benalla Racing Club we are fortunate to be able to bring this event to Benalla.’
Benalla Rural City Council Mayor Cr Bernie Hearn said the Council is excited to be bringing a major winter event to Benalla this winter.
‘The event will offer fun, food and fire to warm everyone up this winter in August and I encourage our local community and people in the wider region to get behind and support this new winter concept to help make it a success,’ Cr Hearn said.
