James Blundell to headline 2017 Seniors Festival at BPACC

James Blundell, one of Australia’s most recognisable country music artists, will perform a free concert at BPACC on 20 October as part of the 2017 Senior Festival.
James Blundell was the first Australian country artist to sign a major recording deal in Nashville and has won nine Golden Guitar Awards.
All people aged 60 and over across Benalla Rural City will be celebrated as part of the 2017 Seniors Week Festival, which runs from 7 – 20 October.
The Festival also includes free and low-cost events and activities including movies at BPACC and the Swanpool Cinema, open garden events, fitness events, workshops.
Mayor, Cr Don Firth said people across Benalla Rural City who are aged over 60 make a significant contribution to the community.
“Many people who are now aged in the seniors bracket have been making a contribution to Benalla Rural City for decades, as volunteers, through their professional lives, through raising their families here and in many other ways.
“The Seniors Festival, every year, is a chance for these people to know their contributions are valued and recognised.
The State Government is also providing eight 8 days of free public transport for Victorian Seniors Card holders in metropolitan and regional Victoria from 8 - 15 October 2017.
