Domestic Animal Management Plan

Our Domestic Animal Management Plan sets out the local law regarding pet registrations, microchipping and desexing, effective control of dogs in public areas and confinement of cats.

Domestic Wastewater Management Plan

Domestic wastewater disposal is an important environmental issue in Benalla Rural City. The most recent Domestic Wastewater Management Plan was adopted by Council on 3 February 2016.

Electric Line Management Plan 2024-25

Benalla Rural City Council complies with the requirements of AS 4373 and the Electricity Safety (Electric Line Clearance) Regulations 2020. The aim of this plan is to provide for public and contractor safety, protect important vegetation whilst ensuring the amenity of the municipality is maximised.

Roadside Weeds and Pest Plan

We receive funding through the Victorian Government’s Roadside Weeds and Pests Management Program. The Program requires that priority weeds are treated in accordance with an approved Roadside Rabbit and Weed Control Plan. The Plan outlines the agreed approach to be undertaken and weeds that will be treated.
