As our building department is currently experiencing a high volume of enquiries, we ask that you show patience as we work through the backlog.
Benalla Rural City Council has implemented a customer portal to process all building application types. We will no longer be accepting hard copies.
You can use the online portal to:
- Submit a new building permit application
- Apply to extend or amend an existing permit
- Check on the progress of your application
- Make online payments
- Request inspections
- Apply for a Report and Consent
- Apply for Section 29A Demolition
- Apply for building search records
- Register your swimming pool or spa
- Request property information
- Submit a general building enquiry
- Lodge documents
As a customer, you can create your own login for access to the customer portal. This allows you to submit your applications and enquiries directly into the portal.
